The Viscount Cantorum Trio Plus is the latest generation of portable organs within the widely known and well-regarded Cantorum series. The first generation was groundbreaking and never seen before, namely a compact and portable organ, yet with three keyboards. Building on this, Viscount has now introduced a similar model running on the latest and patented “Physis Plus Technology” that is even better able to reproduce the authentic sound of a traditional pipe organ. With 46 speaking registers and many orchestral voices, the organ offers a wide range of registration options.
The playing feel can be described as phenomenal with the “Tracker Action” manuals that feel like the manual of a real pipe organ. With the Cantorum Trio you get a very complete three-manual organ that offers optimal sound and playing experience in a compact design that is very easy to transport and all in a relatively affordable price range. In short, an ideal product for students and hobbyists with little space or for choirs and churches looking for an organ that is easily portable.
Sound possibilities and reproduction
The Viscount Cantorum Trio will guarantee many hours of playing pleasure. The compact keyboard is equipped with 46 voices that can also be played in three sound styles; baroque, romantic and symphonic. The 9 pedal registers are played by the automatic pedal function. It is also optionally possible to connect a midi bass pedal. 8 different reverb options give the possibility of making the organ sound grander like in a cathedral or very subtle like a small chapel. As an extra addition, many orchestral voices can also be found in the Trio.
All the beautiful sounds that this Cantorum contains are reproduced through the two-channel audio system consisting of two 55-watt amplifiers and four speakers. By distributing speakers at the top of the keyboard as well as on the sides, audio is distributed naturally, increasing the authenticity of the sound. It is of course also possible to play the organ with headphones.
Accessories
The Cantorum Trio Plus is supplied in light oak and includes a music stand. As optional accessories you will need a stand on which the organ can be placed. You can purchase an original stand, where a 27-tone or 30-tone pedal can be placed under the stand. Of course, you can also choose to place the organ on a cross stand or a Z-stand.
Due to the automatic pedal function, a bass pedal is not necessary, but it does of course increase the possibilities. There are two options; a 13-note Studiologic MP113 pedal, which you can place under any stand. You can also combine this with an expression pedal and a sustain pedal. The other option is a 30-note Viscount pedal, which turns the Cantorum Trio into a full-fledged organ. It is also possible to have two expression pedals mounted on this pedal. A large organ bench is often also purchased when purchasing a 30-note pedal.
Please note: Some accessories in the images are optional and are therefore not included as standard.
