Yamaha
Yamaha was founded in 1887 by Torakusu Yamaha in Japan when he made his first acoustic organ. Yamaha was very passionate and quickly after started making pianos, which made him the first person in Japan to make pianos. Progression and innovation are clearly present in his production process. Throughout the last 150 years the company has expanded and produces many different types of instruments and they continue to improve and expand their production. The innovation Torakusu Yamaha had is still present in Yamaha’s instruments.
The HPH-150
The HPH-150 are great headphones that have been specifically designed for piano players. This is because the headphones produce a beautiful and bright sound, but the sound is also very neutral which means your playing will sound as authentic as possible. However, the headphones are also definitely suitable for other digital instruments and even recording. The speakers in the headphones separate the individual sounds nicely so it’s ideal for mixing. Furthermore, the headphones have an open construction, which means that the back of the pads have holes which will produce a better projection. Keep in mind that the sound of open headphones can be heard by others, which means the headphones aren’t suitable for use in public. Additionally, the headphones have a swivel design so you can put it on your ears comfortably. The HPH-150 has a two-metre cable with a 3.5mm jack and a 6.35mm adapter.
