Taylor 110ce-S
Taylor
Taylor is an American company that was founded in 1974 when two boys bought an old hippie guitar shop. The boys were very passionate about guitars and put a lot of energy into the shop. Eventually, the shop evolved into an international company. All Taylor guitars today are made in either El Cajon in California or Tecate in Mexico. Taylor is very proud of this, because guitars that are produced close to headquarters go through a more thorough quality control process and employee satisfaction is better regulated. Taylor prioritises tone and comfort. All guitars are perfected and with modern luthier techniques the guitars can be made with more precision and consistency.
The 100 Series
The 100 Series contains affordable guitars from this popular brand. Taylor made it so that the guitars are as affordable as possible without it affecting the quality and the sound. All guitars in this series have a solid spruce top for an authentic and warm sound. Furthermore, the guitars are very versatile as they are suitable for both fingerpicking and strumming. The guitars have a slightly narrower neck which makes them more comfortable and makes learning the guitar a little easier.
The 110ce-S
The 110ce-S is a good guitar. The body has a solid spruce top and laminated sapele back and sides. This produces a powerful and warm sound. The guitar has a maple neck and an ebony fretboard. The guitar has a Dreadnought body. This is the most popular shape on the market as it’s the best shape for strumming. The rectangle-esque shape of the body gives the sound a deeper resonance. The guitar has ES2 electronics so the amplified sound will sound authentic.
