The BP-1W is a great and versatile boost pedal from Boss. Boss is a Japanese company that produces high-quality guitar accessories, especially amplifiers and pedals. The BP-1W contains the classic preamp tones from the popular CE-1 Chorus Ensemble and the RE-201 Space Echo. The CE-mode produces a bright and deep sound whilst the RE-mode produces a gritty and warm tone. In between these two modes is the NAT-mode, which will produce a more natural and neutral sound. The BP-1W has Waza Craft technology and is thus part of Boss’ Waza Craft series. These pedals are of even higher quality. Furthermore, the sound can easily be adjusted with the Gain and Level knobs. The system also has two premium buffers so you can choose between the pure signal, the standard buffer, or the vintage buffer with a lower input impedance.
