Eastman
Eastman was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni, a Chinese musician who had moved to America. He realised there were few professional instruments available at the time, which is why he decided to start his own company. Quality is still Eastman’s priority. Every instrument is made by hand and goes through an extensive process to ensure that the instruments will stand the test of time and can be used quite intensively.
The E1D
The E1D is a dreadnought. The dreadnought is the most popular model within western guitars. The shape of the body makes it the ideal rhythm guitar, as the projection is amazing. This doesn’t mean that the guitar can’t be used for fingerpicking, because it certainly can. The top of the guitar is made of solid spruce which produces a warm sound. The guitar has solid sapele back and sides for a great balance and a bright sound. The guitar has a mahogany neck and an ebony fretboard. This is a popular combination that results in a comfortable experience.
