Eastman
Eastman was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni, a Chinese musician who had moved to America. He realised there were few professional instruments available at the time, which is why he decided to start his own company. Quality is still Eastman’s priority. Every instrument is made by hand and goes through an extensive process to ensure that the instruments will stand the test of time and can be used quite intensively.
The E2D-BK
The E2D-BK is a dreadnought guitar. Dreadnought guitars are the most popular western guitars as they are ideal rhythm guitars. The top of the body is made of solid cedar. Solid tops are, compared to laminated tops, a lot better when it comes to sound. The sound will not only be more powerful, but the sound will have more warmth and sound more authentic. Cedar is a popular choice as it produces a warm sound. The back and sides are made of solid sapele, which produces a bright and resonant sound.
