Kala KA-OWL-ACA-TE - Revelator Night Owl Acacia Tenor Ukulele  

The KA-OWL-ACA-TE is a great electro-acoustic ukulele from Kala. The ukulele has a beautiful shape that was inspired by the work of luthier Pete Howlett. The ukulele has a slim body but still produces a loud volume. The idea behind an electro-acoustic ukulele is that it can both be used as an electric ukulele and an acoustic ukulele. A peculiar part of the ukulele is that the sound hole isn’t located beneath the strings, but next to it. Consequently, the vibrations of the strings are caught by the solid acacia top after which they fall into the body. This will result in a better articulation and a more detailed tone. The back and sides of the ukulele are made of okoume which will provide a great resonance and a bright sound.
