Kala UBASS-SB5-BK-FL - 5-String Jet Black Fretless  

Kala has made some new developments within the U-BASS series, now presenting the U-BASS Solid Body instruments. These small basses are thus made of solid wood and contain a pickup. Consequently, they are smaller electric basses. The body of the bass has contoured edges so they will comfortably lie against your body. The neck is 60 centimetres long which give you ample space to play however you want but is small enough to make travel easier.

This U-BASS has a fretless fretboard. This makes playing harder and is consequently only recommended to people who have experience with fretless basses. The bass has an okoume body which produces a bright sound with a beautiful resonance. The U-BASS has a maple neck and laurel fretboard. This is a great combination which provides an authentic experience. Furthermore, the instrument has a passive humbucker pickup which will provide a strong and full amplified sound.
