The Kawai K-300 is based on the successful and much acclaimed K-3 piano. This piano has been voted piano of the year for no less than four consecutive years. Believing that even something good can be improved upon, the renowned piano manufacturer has launched the new K-300. An improved construction, a solid soundboard and the renowned "Millennium III action" ensure a full, round sound. This beautiful instrument is guaranteed to be an asset to any pianist! This version of the K-300 piano features the ATX4 silent system. Pressing the center pedal locks the hammers so that no more acoustic sound is produced. Sensors under the keys accurately register the keystroke and convert it into a digital sound that can be listened to via the headphones. Ideal for practicing when the environment does not appreciate piano sound. This piano is also available in a version without a silent system.
Incl. Luxury Piano Package
All Kawai pianos are delivered with the free Luxury Piano Package worth €325,- consisting of:
- Tuning before delivery and after delivery
- 10 year warranty
- Free delivery based on ground floor
Features of the Kawai K-300
The Kawai K-300 piano has a quite high housing with a 1.22 meter high furniture. The higher the housing, the longer the strings become and this benefits the sound. The K-300 is therefore renowned for its full, round sounds. Is the K-300 piano just above your budget or too large in terms of furniture? Then you can also look at the slightly lower K-200, which has a slightly more subtle sound.
This sound is jointly established due to the solid spruce soundboard. The soundboard is the heart of the piano and for this reason Kawai applies very high quality standards. Wood is carefully selected and must meet strict criteria such as small annual rings and whether the thread is parallel to the axis. The soundboard will be of very high quality because of this precise production. As a result, the piano is able to transform vibrations from the strings into rich and full tones.
The manner of playing of the K-300
The manner of playing of the Kawai K-300 is very pleasant. The piano is equipped with the much acclaimed “Millennium III” action. Components made of ABS-Carbon are incredibly sturdy and stiff, but at the same time very lightweight. This makes the hammer action lighter without losing power. This results in a piano with a strong and fast action that gives you optimal control as a pianist. From powerful fortissimo to finely expressive pianissimo you can play carefree on the K-300.
The silent system
The silent system is a very nice addition to this piano. If piano music is not desirable for the environment, many hours can still be played. The fun certainly does not diminish, because the quality of the digital system is very high. The brand new “GP Touch Muting System” improves the stopping of the hammers just before the strings are struck. As a result, the playing feel remains very natural even with the digital system.
In terms of sound, the Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano is the starting point. This piano has built up a worldwide reputation and graces the stages of every concert hall. Exceptional clarity and dynamic range are features for which this model is praised. In the ATX4 system you can enjoy this wonderful professional sound.
The technique with which the sound is created has been worked on for many years. This ultimately results in the “multi-channel Sampling” technology in which multiple recordings are stacked to create the final sound. Resonance properties are then placed over this technique with its own technique.
In addition to the piano sound, the ATX4 system features many additional extraordinary sounds such as electric pianos, organs and strings. Multiple settings are possible, such as stacking these sounds or splitting them. Bluetooth can be used to connect to mobile devices for easier operation or additional settings such as sound editing or recording functionality.
