Line 6
Line 6 is a guitar company that was founded in 1996 in California. In 1996 they produced the first modelling amp in the world, the AxSys 212. They focussed mostly on modelling techniques with amps and effect pedals. Furthermore, they prioritise versatility, which means their technology contains many different types of modelling and sounds. Additionally, they played an important role in the improvement and availability of digital recording. In 2014 Line 6 was bought by the popular Japanese company Yamaha. Yamaha is a huge company that produces many different types of instruments and audio products. Consequently, Line 6 didn’t just grow, it also became available worldwide. Moreover, Yamaha prioritises innovation and creativity, which means their subsidiary Line 6 still strives to produce the best and newest products.
The Relay G30
The Relay G30 is a wireless system for your guitar. The system consists of two parts: the transmitter and the receiver. Connect the transmitter to your guitar output and the receiver to your amp. Turn both components on and make sure they’re on the same channel, and you can play! You can play wirelessly for up to eight hours and the system has a range of 30 metres max. Furthermore, the wireless system won’t negatively affect the sound. The frequency of the system is 10Hz to 20kHz so the sound will remain as beautiful and clear as it would be with a cable.
