The 15 Series
The 15 series guitars were designed for versatility: they are excellent choices to take to your lessons but are also suited for professional performances. The guitars were constructed and tested carefully and mindfully so Martin is able to guarantee high quality. Furthermore, the guitars produce a beautiful classic tone. All guitars in the series are made of solid wood and have a stunning satin finish. Moreover, all the guitars contain the popular X bracing system. This system was designed by Martin in the 19th century and results in a sturdier guitar with a richer tone.
De 000-15E
The 000-15E is a beautiful Orchestra guitar from Martin. The guitar is very suitable for fingerpicking as the 000 shape emphasises the individual tones nicely. However, the guitar can also be used as a rhythm guitar, as the powerful resonance will make it sound very full and rich. Additionally, the guitar is made of high-quality materials, with an Indian mahogany top and sapele back and sides. Mahogany produces a powerful and warm sound whereas sapele sounds sharper and brighter. This combination makes the guitar sound authentic and detailed. The Martin E1 preamp is installed in the guitar.
Martin
Martin is a reputable American company which has been making guitars for almost 200 years. Throughout the years they have become one of the best when it comes to western guitars. This is because quality is their biggest priority. Consequently, Martin guitars are very popular. There are even many famous guitarists who use Martin guitars, like Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, and David Gilmour. Furthermore, their production process is environmentally friendly. Since the ‘90s they have worked together with the FSC to prevent deforestation. They only use wood from trees that have to be cut down to keep the forest healthy. The other parts of the guitar are recycled, as well. By purchasing a Martin guitar you are thus not only investing in quality, but also the environment.
