Nord Grand 2 Stage piano
The Nord Grand 2 is a Stage piano that combines the best Nord samples with a hyper-realistic piano keyboard. This way you have the best of both worlds in one instrument! The original Nord Grand was already a big hit among piano enthusiasts, and Nord wants to expand on this success with this new model by adding better sounds, more options and an even better keyboard!
Recognizable design
The Nord Grand 2 maintains its recognizable design, which is quite logical. Its wooden shell and sloping dashboard make it a visually appealing piano, reminiscent of the classic electric pianos from the 1970s—a style Nord intentionally emulates. Paired with its wooden stand and music stand, it makes for an attractive addition to any living room.
Kawai Triple Sensor keyboard
The 1st generation Nord Grand was a great success thanks to the collaboration between Nord and the Japanese piano manufacturer Kawai. These two companies joined forces for the first time in history to develop a keyboard for the Nord Grand. Apparently this collaboration was very successful, because Kawai was also involved in the development of the Nord Grand 2. This new keyboard has Kawai's own triple-sensor technology, which should ensure an extremely precise playing experience and enormous expressiveness!
New piano sounds and capabilities
Nord has given a major upgrade to its internal piano engine. Just like the older model, this Nord Grand uses the very best piano sounds on the market thanks to the Nord Sound Library. In addition, the Nord Grand 2 has some extra piano effects such as String resonance, Dynamic pedal noise and Dynamic compression and Unison! This allows you to make Nord's already brilliant piano sounds even more to your taste.
Finally, the internal processor has also been improved considerably, making it now possible to use 2 layers simultaneously in the piano engine! This also applies to the internal sample synth, which can also handle 2 layers at the same time.
In conclusion
The Nord Grand 2 is another total package that pianists will enjoy! With the Kawai Triple sensor keyboard, beautiful design and unprecedented good sounds, this is the ideal stage piano for the demanding pianist!
