The TD-07KV is a compact drum kit that delivers superior expression and playing comfort. All pads feature the widely acclaimed mesh heads and a new dedicated bass drum unit provides optimal pedal experience. The new module is equipped with the latest features and lets you explore creative possibilities such as creating your own personalised sounds. In short, a relatively affordable drum kit with maximum sound and playing experience for the beginner to the avid hobby drummer.

The module of the Roland TD-07KV

The Roland TD-07KV features an all-new module. The module is the heart of an electronic drum kit. In the case of the TD-07, this concerns a powerful, capable and fast module equipped with many modern features. Previously, the most affordable drum kits involved the TD-1 series where you, the drummer, had access to a number of pre-programmed drum kits with no adjustments possible. In that respect, the TD-07KV opens up a new world! More than 20 different drum kits are programmed and in total up to 50 kits can be composed. This can be done by combining sounds from different kits and then customising them entirely to your own liking. For example, the size and thickness of the cymbals can be adjusted. But from full acoustic drums to percussion instrument to the smallest details are captured, A wide range of electronic percussion is also present.

The module is also equipped with the latest features such as a Bluetooth function. This allows you to connect your drum kit to smartphone or tablet and then wirelessly play your favourite songs and drum along fanatically. Of course, it is also still possible to connect a music device via an audio cable.

Playing comfort

Playing on a digital drum kit certainly doesn't have to be any less comfortable than on an acoustic kit. Roland pioneered this with the development of their widely acclaimed mesh heads. These heads have a very realistic touch and rebound of the drumstick, making the touch similar to an acoustic kit. Another big advantage of these mesh heads is that they minimise impact noise, making them much quieter. The special new bass drum unit has special damping that drastically reduces the sound of the beater on pad without losing playing comfort.
