The Roland V-Stage
The V-Stage is Roland's fantastic new keyboard. The keyboard features high-quality sound technologies, a convenient user interface and a versatile and responsive system. In addition, the system has weighted keys with a faux hammer action, which provides an authentic feel. This responsiveness also makes the keyboard suitable for pianists who are used to an acoustic piano, as the keys do not feel too light.
Sound
The V-Stage has four independent sound engines, providing a versatile sound library. The four sound engines consist of Acoustic Piano, Electric Piano, Organ, and Synthesizer. With the Acoustic Piano, you have access to authentic and expressive acoustic piano sounds, including professionally recorded grand pianos via Roland's famous V-Piano technology. With the Electric Piano, you can bring legendary digital models back to life, from retro '80s icons to modern systems. The Organ gives you access to a three-layer organ developed using Roland's Virtual Tone Wheel technology. With the Synthesizer, you have access to 400 ZEN-Core sounds for ultimate versatility. You can also set up layers, allowing you to play multiple engines at once. In addition, each engine has a mixer, allowing you to customize certain aspects of the sound. You can view some sound demos of the V-Stage here. You can also mix sounds with other sounds or edit them. The system also comes with a great effects panel, allowing you to add effects such as reverb, delay, mods and filters.
Controls
In addition, the V-Stage has an ergonomic layout with a convenient user interface. The buttons make it easy to make changes and let you focus on playing and not programming. The buttons are clearly labelled and illuminated. Everything is also easy to keep track of with the large LCD display. You can also make quick changes while playing with one hand with just one touch of a button for an efficient experience. Furthermore, you can connect four different pedals to the keyboard. With the USB port, you can connect the keyboard to your PC or laptop and work with various apps, stream music or even record. You can also connect MIDI controllers to the system via the MIDI port.
Roland
Roland was founded in 1972 by Ikutaro Kakehashi in Osaka, Japan. Kakehashi had specifically founded this company to compete in the competitive market of professional musical instruments. He started with seven employees in a small shed and produced their first product: a drum machine. Not much later came their first synthesizer and soon they expanded their range enormously to all kinds of digital audio products. They are now one of the largest audio companies in the world. This is partly due to their philosophy: music is a universal means of communication that must be supported by innovation and reliability. In addition, they also find the physical quality of their products very important, which is why all their products are extremely innovative and high-quality.
