The history of Yamaha
The Yamaha brand is well known in the world of musical instruments, but its reach extends far beyond. It now makes motorcycles, skis and audio equipment, among other things. But the company's origins are in music, and the three tuning forks that make up its logo are a nice detail of that. The Japanese company Yamaha was founded in 1887 by Mr Tarakuse Yamaha. He started making harmoniums and more than 13 years later, in 1900, he built the first pianos. The factory is located in Hamamutsu and has left its mark all over the world. With more than 6 million instruments produced, you will find Yamaha pianos and grand pianos all over the world. Yamaha pianos and grand pianos are renowned for their solid construction, clear transparent sound, fine playability and high tuning stability. Curious about these beautiful instruments? We have an ever-changing collection of Yamaha pianos and you are very welcome!
