The Luthier Aniversario is exactly what the name insinuates: this model was developed for the 50^th anniversary of Alhambra. The guitar was designed to be aesthetically pleasing, comfortable to play, versatile, and perfectly adjusted. The guitar has twenty frets and a very comfortable neck, meaning the neck slides nicely through the hand. The guitar has a ‘Japanese House’ construction. It is called that because it is shaped like a house and was designed by Japanese companies. This construction was designed to make extra sturdy guitars that could survive in different climates. This made the guitars stronger and more durable than European or American alternatives.

Materials

The guitar is also made of the best materials. As such, the back and sides are made of ziricote. Ziricote does not only look beautiful, but it also produces a bright and articulated sound. The top of the body is made of cedar, which is one of the most popular tonewoods for classical guitars. This is for good reason: cedar emphasises the high tones and produces a warm sound. This is beautifully complemented with nylon strings. The top and back and sides are connected with bubinga binding, which gives the guitar a luxurious appearance.

The CS-3 CW E8

The CS-3 CW E8 is a handy semi-acoustic classical guitar from Alhambra. The guitar has been specifically designed to sound as authentic as possible but to also make it amplifiable. Alhambra refers to the guitar as “modern music with a classy touch.” The guitar is moreover very versatile, not only because it’s semi-acoustic, but also because it has a cut-out and a comfortable neck for ultimate flexibility. Alhambra also made sure the guitar looked as classy as possible. As such, the guitar doesn’t have visible knobs or electronics and instead has classical features around the bridge, rosette, and headstock. Furthermore, the guitar contains Fishman preamps, which are among the best on the market. The top of the body is made of solid red cedar, which produces a bright and warm sound.
