Tenor Saxophone Reeds:

Whether your reed is broken or discolored, a new reed is wise. Look further here to replace your reed for your Tenore Saxophone

ABOUT THE SAXOPHONE

For a woodwind player, this instrument has a long history dating back to 1840. Developed by the Belgian instrument builder Adolphe Sax, this is his most famous musical instrument. The saxophone now has different types and sizes, including the most famous the Alto saxophone, Tenor saxophone and Soprano saxophone. The saxophone is playable in all musical styles, yet many people think of jazz or tearing on your knees. The reason why the saxophone, especially the alto, has become so popular has to do with the fact that it can produce a warm sound but can be used very sharply and experimentally with a different mouthpiece.

Today's saxophones usually have a range of 2 octaves. From low B-flat to high Fis. Furthermore, some wind players can also create so-called top tones. This is a technique that allows you to overblow and by taking different grips you can blow higher notes than should be possible mechanically.
