The biggest upgrades

This generation first distinguishes itself from the Launchkey 3 with OLED. This is because the third generation had an LCD display. The thirty scales are also an upgrade from the nine in the previous generation, and so more controls and types have also been added. This broadens the creative possibilities and allows you to go in even more directions. The DAW controls with pads, plugin encoders, mixer and volume faders are also new. For the MIDI controls, more options have been added; these now include 16 encoders and a mod wheel for smoother control.

Versatile 

This fourth-generation Launchkey has been conceived to look, feel and, above all, play like a high-quality instrument. This is evident in the keyboard, the unique patented Launchpad-style FSR pads and the bright OLED display. This combination forms a wide range of creative tools that allow you to expressively and quickly produce chord progressions, bass lines, melodies and sequences. This is achieved, for example, with 30 different scales that you can set to your liking. In addition, the Launchkey includes a maximum of eight MIDI or audio tracks.

Software and tools

The Launchkey also has a redesigned interface that feels and plays like an instrument. This makes the software a lot easier to operate. DAW and plugin settings can be precisely adjusted with continuous encoders and buttons. In addition, you can start clips and scenes and create drum beats in Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio. In addition to detailed hands-on operation of all DAWs, it comes with powerful tools for creating chords and melodies. These include a collection of software synths, orchestral sample libraries, effects processors and a step sequencer for Ableton Live users.
