The new Roland GP series
Big news from Japan: Roland just announced three brand new grand pianos! These will replace the older GP-607 & GP-609 during the year. It concerns the Roland GP-3, GP-6 and GP-9 grand pianos. These models have had a major update, with better sounds, a new keyboard and a new speaker system. Roland also released the GP-9M. This grand piano is very special thanks to the self-playing keyboard! You can read more about these new models below.
Roland GP-3
Have you always wanted a grand piano, but don't have the space or budget for it? Then this new Roland GP-3 might be something for you. This is Roland's new entry-level model and promises to offer a true grand piano experience, both in appearance and sound, at an attractive price. In addition, it is very compact with a depth of only 69.8 cm and will take up little space in a living room.
Roland GP-6
The Roland GP-6 is the new mid-range model from Roland that will replace the Roland GP-607. Compared to the old model, it has received quite a few upgrades. For example, he has a brand new "Piano Reality Premium keyboard" keyboard that should make the playing experience even more realistic. The sounds have also been improved thanks to a new sound generator with European and American grand piano sounds. In addition, it remains fairly compact with a depth of less than 1 meter.
Roland GP-9
The Roland GP-9 is the new absolute top model from Roland, which will replace the popular GP-609. With a new sound generator and a new keyboard, Roland promises to get even closer to a real grand piano with this model. But perhaps the biggest upgrade is the speaker system. With a total of 8 speakers and a power of no less than 150 watts, this is a piano that must sound unprecedentedly full and powerful! In addition, Roland also makes a GP-9M model, with a real self-playing keyboard!
