Book launch
Author and also former owner of Joh.deHeer will launch the book ‘Johannes de Heer meer dan 125 jaar, de toekomst tegemoet!’ this evening. Jan W. Klijn was co-owner of the Joh.deHeer music store for almost 20 years before handing over the business to a new generation of entrepreneurs on 1 April 2018. Since then, the ins and outs of the business has been in the ownership hands of Wim Alblas and Freek Plokhooij. They did pioneering work and hope to add many more new chapters to the wonderful company.
Musical content
The blue collection of hymns by Johannes de Heer, familiar to almost everyone in the Netherlands, will form the guideline for the musical evening. Martin Mans on organ and Mark Brandwijk on piano will play a varied programme, including Johannes de Heer hymns, with some pieces with community singing.
