Yamaha has just completely renewed its most popular line of digital pianos with the arrival of the CLP-800 models! All models have been upgraded, see below for the announced models and their delivery times:

"Digital never felt so Grand"

The Yamaha 800 line are the latest models in the Yamaha CLP series of digital pianos. The CLP series from Yamaha is one of the most famous and renowned digital piano lines in the world, and for good reason. These pianos excel in sound, refinement and expressiveness. And with this CLP-800 line they show that with new digital techniques they can bring it one step closer to the acoustic playing experience! Hence the slogan; “digital never felt so grand!

What's new

Yamaha has improved the most important elements of a digital piano with this new CLP-800 series. For example, the well-known Grandtouch keyboards have all been updated. The touch should be improved, and the hammers and sensors have also been given a small update. All this should together ensure a more realistic playing experience with more expressiveness! 

The well-known CFX and Bösendorfer sounds have also had a major upgrade. Yamaha was able to achieve this by using a new custom chip specifically for the piano sounds. This in combination with the new Grand Expression modelling technique results in a brilliant playing experience, even with the entry-level model!

The design has been given a rounder finish on all models to resemble Yamaha's grand piano models more. There is also a new color called White Birch. In addition, all the familiar colors are also present such as white, black and polished ebony!
