The Kronos

Korg has revived their famous synthesizer after popular demand: the Kronos! The synthesizer is back and better than ever before, with an intuitive interface, more than 300 premium sounds, nine different sound engines, and a beautiful TouchView colour screen. This, among other things, makes this the ultimate keyboard for professionals and beginners. A synthesizer suitable for on stage, in the studio, and in your living room. The Kronos is available with 88 keys, 73 keys, and 61 keys.

Sound

The system already had thousands of sounds and combinations, but the Kronos 3 has 256 new programs and 128 brand-new sounds. In total, the system contains more than 21 gigabytes of preprogrammed sounds and samples. On top of that, you’ll still have access to 62 gigabytes of extra storage for your own sounds and samples or for downloading more content through the Kronos Sound Library. The Kronos Sound Library consists of professionally programmed and recorded sounds that will provide a dynamic and authentic experience. The nine sound engines principally give you access to nine different synthesizers. Every engine was designed with the most advanced technology to provide you with the most dynamic and versatile sound creation. Consequently, you’ll have a lot of control over the sound without having the sound quality deteriorate.

Controls

Korg has spent its time and experience on creating a streamlined user interface. The system is very intuitive with eight knobs, nine faders, and a bunch of handy click-and-play buttons. As such, the system is easy to learn and use so you can focus on the music instead of on the programming. However, the best part of the user interface is the beautiful TouchView colour screen. It doesn’t only give the system a luxurious appearance, but it’s enormously fast and responsive and will clearly show you all the important details with just one look. Furthermore, the synthesizer is sturdy and nice. This is because the system has a metal exterior with gorgeous black wooden side panels, providing the synthesizer with a professional appearance.
