Taylor
Taylor is an American company that was founded in 1974 when two boys bought an old hippie guitar shop. The boys were very passionate about guitars and put a lot of energy into the shop. Eventually, the shop evolved into an international company. All Taylor guitars today are made in either El Cajon in California or Tecate in Mexico. Taylor is very proud of this, because guitars that are produced close to headquarters go through a more thorough quality control process and employee satisfaction is better regulated. Taylor prioritises tone and comfort. All guitars are perfected and with modern luthier techniques the guitars can be made with more precision and consistency.
The American Dream Series
The American Dream series consists of solid-body guitars that are produced in the US. All guitars in the series have a powerful projection and a dynamic tone. Furthermore, all the edges are rounded which makes it more comfortable against your body. All guitars also have a slender neck which makes them more comfortable to play.
The AD12e-SB
The AD12e-SB is a great guitar. The body has solid walnut back and sides which results in a bright and deep sound. The top of the body is made of solid spruce. Spruce produces a warm sound and has great projection. The guitar has a mahogany neck and an eucalyptus fretboard. The guitar has a Grand Concert body, which is a comfortable shape that is a bit smaller than the Dreadnought. The neck is also a bit shorter which makes it more suitable for smaller or younger guitar players. Furthermore, the shape gives the guitar a nicely balanced sound. The guitar has ES2 electronics so the amplified sound will sound authentic.
