* Before you purchase a pad, refer to the pad compatibility table to make sure that you can connect the pad to your drum trigger module (tone generator).
Percussion and drum pad
The DD-75 is a handy drum pad from Yamaha. It is not just another percussion pad, as the pad mimics a complete drum kit. At the top are eight touch-sensitive pads arranged in the same way as a drum kit. The pad even comes with two assignable pedals and two wooden sticks. The set sounds under the pads also sound acoustic. However, you can also choose from a variety of voices and kits, including multiple acoustic kits, drum machines and electronic drum kits. For percussionists who are not fans of drum kits, the pads are also suitable for playing by hand. The pads will respond just as well and the also include several percussion sounds for the most authentic experience and sound possible. Although the pads have a fine sensitivity level, they are also individually adjustable. So you can adjust the sensitivity of one pad and not the rest. This also applies to the sounds. All sounds are individually adjustable, allowing you to use your favourite sounds at the same time.
Advantages of digital playing
If authenticity is so important, why not a real drum kit or percussion instrument? A digital instrument has many advantages over an acoustic instrument. For example, this pad is the ideal purchase for the drummer who likes to practise in silence. This is because you can connect headphones to the pad and the physical attack is muted by the pads. You can also practise at a low volume, which can be adjusted with the volume control. Moreover, you can also play along with background music more easily. In fact, you can connect your phone to the pad via the AUX. Recording also becomes easier. Instead of adjusting and mixing multiple microphones, this pad only requires you to turn on the ‘record’ function. The system can remember up to five songs at the same time.
In addition, this pad is generally lighter and more compact than a drum kit or percussion instruments, making it easy to transport. Another advantage of a digital instrument, is that you have multiple instruments in one. For example, the DD-75 has many different drum kits and percussion sounds. An acoustic instrument only comes with one sound, so with the pad you invest in multiple instruments. Lastly, the pad also runs on batteries, so it can be used anywhere.
The DS-840 is a sturdy drum throne from Yamaha. Hardware is very important to any drummer; it is not the intention that certain tripods or the stool to fall over or collapse. It is therefore a good idea to invest in high-quality products from reliable companies. The DS-840 has a wide and stable threaded rod on which the seat sits, making it very easy and quick to adjust the height of the seat. However, this does not cause instability, and the seat will not slide. The height is adjustable between 46 and 65 centimetres. The bar is made of die-cast aluminium and the legs are double-braced. This ensures that the legs will not deform and that the stool can handle a lot of weight. In short, a very sturdy stool for the enthusiastic drummer!
The EAD10 simplifies a complicated setup that typically requires microphones, cables, mixers and PA expertise. And it instantly transforms your acoustic drum kit into a powerful digital/electronic hybrid with sampled sounds and studio quality digital effects. It allows you to play and record your acoustic drums along with your favorite artists from your music library or from tracks from your friends and share them digitally.
With the free iOS/Android app you can shoot, edit and upload videos of your drum performances.
The EAD10 enhances every aspect of your drumming – the way you practice, record and perform live and makes your acoustic drums do more.

Do you want to produce a proper rhythm without a drum set? The FGDP-30 is the ideal option! This device is a drum pad that you can work with your fingers. The pad contains a wide variety of different professionally sampled sounds, from acoustic drums to electronic sounds. Yamaha has made sure that in the factory settings the layout is divided in the most efficient way. They call this the 3-finger style, which means you can work the kick drum with your thumb, the hi-hat with your middle finger, and the snare with your index finger. However, you can change this and assign different purposes to the individual pads. The pads are also very nuanced, as you can, for example, choke the cymbal by holding the pad down with one finger and tapping it with another. The device has a rechargeable battery and can thus be used anywhere.
