The ES-520 is a high-quality digital piano from Kawai. The piano has 88 semi-weighted keys. This means that the keys feel just like the keys of an acoustic piano. In an acoustic piano, the strings are struck with a hammer, which causes the keys to have a certain weight and become heavier as the tone gets lower. Kawai has recreated this with the 'Authentic Responsive Hammer Compact II' system.
