Nord presented their long-awaited successor to the Nord C2D on Friday evening, January 9: the brand new Nord Organ 3! This model promises to come even closer to the original tonewheel organs thanks to a brand new sound engine and improved keys. Read everything you need to know about this new organ here.
New sounds
Perhaps the most important upgrades in the Nord Organ 3 are the improved sound engines. For example, the B3 simulator has been completely renewed and perfected in detail. In addition to the B3, they have also taken well-known effects such as vibrato, chorus, and also the internal Leslie to a higher level. In addition, you can completely customize the internal Leslie to your taste by using other types of virtual microphones, for example. The transistor and pipe organs are also back, and especially the Vox and Farfisa have also been completely renewed!
Control panel
The Nord Organ 3 has a brand new control panel. Thanks to the clear OLED screen you can always see your most important settings and presets. The Drawbars are placed just above the keyboard for precise and fast adjustments.
Improved manual
The new Nord Organ 3 uses an advanced 2x61 key triple sensor manual. Triple sensor means that there are no less than 3 sensors under each key. This gives you a realistic playing experience that is closer to the old Hammond tonewheel organs. You can also add a bass pedal to the Nord Organ 3 to make it a complete organ!
