About Domus Organs
The warm and recognizable sound of Domus organs is based on the technology of the Italian organ builder Viscount. The Italian Marcello Gallanti founded Viscount organs in 1959, after which the first contacts were made with Domus in 1966. From that moment on, the cooperation in the field of development and sales intensified.
Years ago, the first analog organ was developed, after which the era of the digital organ soon dawned. Physical Modeling arose from this. Physical Modeling is a technique that analyzes and builds the sound of a real pipe organ from the ground up. A sound is not directly recorded, but rather the sound is analyzed by means of all kinds of mathematical formulas, whereby all unique characteristics are stored. In this way, it is possible to model a new sound from the ground up that responds like its acoustic equivalent.
Domus has Pipeorgan+, a revolutionary concept, in which the disposition of authentic church organs is expanded with the voices of Pipeorgan+. This is possible and successful thanks to the lifelike sound of the extra voice(s). This is in fact fully adapted to the character and timbre of your pipe organ. The secret of the harmony between the original and the Pipeorgan+ voices is Physical Modeling. A revolutionary sound technique, in which Domus specialists determine the character of your church organ on the basis of 60 (!) variables. The additional voices are modeled on the basis of these properties. The intelligent and patented 'pipe' interface brings the physical modeling voices to the same pitch as the speaking pipes through millions of calculations per second.
Cantorum
With the Cantorum models, Viscount makes the classical organ portable and accessible. All organs in this series are relatively affordable and feature authentic organ features. Operation is simple and the sounds are all stereo samples carefully arranged to simulate pipe organ sound. The series consists of three models in which the Cantorum VI+ has one keyboard and the Cantorum Duo has two keyboards. A new three-manual portable model has recently been released, so a unique form factor! You will also find this Cantorum Trio in our range.
All three are equipped with an “automatic pedal” function so that the organ sounds like a full-fledged organ. Of course it is possible to optionally connect a pedal via midi. Read more information about the Cantorum models here!
Chorum
The organs within the Chorum family reproduce the authentic sounds of a pipe organ using ARTEM technology. This abbreviation stands for Advanced Real Technology Music and has been researched and developed in its own research center in Italy. Register for register is characterized by beauty and richness and is enhanced by the precise reverb system with various reverb options. As the series progresses, the organs become more and more elaborate in disposition. Chorum organs are functional in operation but offer extensive options for saving settings and register combinations. Chorum organs are real family organs that can be perfectly placed in the living room. These models are often purchased by beginners as well as avid hobbyists.
The Benjamin of the series is the Chorum 10, a compact organ with one keyboard in a solid wood cabinet. Subsequently, the Chorum 20 is available, a unique model. This laminate organ is inexpensive to purchase and one of the few new organs available with a 13-note pedal. The series also consists of the Chorum 40, which is also made of laminate in a classic model and a sleeker model. With the Chorum 50, the choice is huge, because this variant exists in laminate furniture as well as solid furniture in a more classic variant as well as a sleeker model. The Chorum S80 is the flagship of the Chorums and includes a sleek three-manual model with the most extensive disposition and amplification.

Sonus
The Sonus series is on the market for the professional and seasoned hobbyist organists. This series has been developed with the exclusive Physis technology, designed and patented by Viscount itself. All Sonus models are equipped with a rich library of voices. You can select hundreds of additional sounds from memory. The control panel is cleverly designed so that, despite the multitude of options, operation remains simple. The Sonus series consists of the two-manual Sonus 40 and the three-manual Sonus 60. Both are available in a laminated furniture as a solid oak furniture.
