Taylor celebrates 50 years: here are the Limited Edition guitars!
Taylor had been founded in California in 1974. It was a small guitar shop that was taken over by two boys. Over the last 50 years, it has grown into one of the biggest companies in western guitars. It currently has two factories, one in America and one in Mexico. Here, it is using modern construction techniques to ensure quality. Of course, all guitars also go through strict quality control.
However, that now means that in 2024, the company will already be 50 years old. This is cause for a big celebration! Through 2024, it is producing high-quality Limited Edition guitars. Only 1,974 models of each model are produced, making them extremely Limited Edition. So more models within this series will be released, at the moment we have the Taylor 314ce LTD 50th Anniversary, the GS Mini-e Rosewood SB LTD 50th Anniversary and the 217e-SB Plus LTD 50th Anniversary in our range.
All guitars within this series have gold tuners as a reference to the golden age of 50, ebony bridge pins with a beautiful gold acrylic circle and a verification label. For this series, they have used their most popular models and redesigned them as a reference to their loyal customers.
