Sweelinq announces first German sample set!
Since 2015, a beautiful organ built by Romanus Seigert & Sohn has been standing in the region of North Rhine-Westphalia. Located in the church of St Mary Magdalene in Goch, this impressive organ has a French symphonic sound. Its 42 voices are perfectly suited to the acoustics of the Gothic space. The release is promised for this year, but a date is not yet known, so keep an eye on our news for more information!
About the organ
The organ has three manuals and with a powerful series of prestants ranging from 16′ to 2′, the Grand Orgue provides a solid foundation, ideal for supporting the reeds. The Récit offers versatile possibilities including the warm string stops and the characterful Voix Humaine 8′. The Solo Manual is inspired by the work of Cavaillé-Coll, notably the organ at Saint-Ouen Abbey in Rouen, and offers additional possibilities with its beautiful flute stops and the rare Violoncelle 8′. The Grand Orgue itself has only one reeds, making it necessary to connect the third manual to the first to use the reeds. The pedal contains two 32′ stops, the Sousbasse and the Violonbasse.
