The spruce of the soundboard is therefore specially selected and comes from higher areas, so that quality and longevity can be guaranteed. With its 122 centimeters high housing, this Johannes Seiler 122 Traditio is very suitable for placement in a living room, which can be characterized by its balanced volume. Compared to the Traditio 118,  this model is a fraction higher. The slightly longer strings of this 122 piano raise the volume slightly and provide the treble with a slightly more powerful bass. The high tones also benefit from the extra height, this side becomes slightly more dynamic, which makes this model an added value for a subtle pianissimo! 

The furniture of the 122 Traditio

Johannes Seiler has four series of acoustic pianos; modern, traditional, classic and nuance. This Johannes Seiler 122 Traditio is part of the traditional series. An elegantly designed black-polished furniture with decorative legs makes the instrument a true piece of furniture. The piano is equipped with a 'slow-fall mechanism' so that it closes slowly. Damage to the piano or fingers due to the lid closing hard is therefore impossible. The classic brass finish of the hardware provides even more elegance.
