Line 6 is a guitar company that was founded in 1996 in California. In 1996 they produced the first modelling amp in the world, the AxSys 212. They focussed mostly on modelling techniques with amps and effect pedals. Furthermore, they prioritise versatility, which means their technology contains many different types of modelling and sounds. Additionally, they played an important role in the improvement and availability of digital recording. In 2014 Line 6 was bought by the popular Japanese company Yamaha. Yamaha is a huge company that produces many different types of instruments and audio products. Consequently, Line 6 didn�t just grow, it also became available worldwide. Moreover, Yamaha prioritises innovation and creativity, which means their subsidiary Line 6 still strives to produce the best and newest products.
