Line 6
Line 6 is a guitar company that was founded in 1996 in California. In 1996 they produced the first modelling amp in the world, the AxSys 212. They focussed mostly on modelling techniques with amps and effect pedals. Furthermore, they prioritise versatility, which means their technology contains many different types of modelling and sounds. Additionally, they played an important role in the improvement and availability of digital recording. In 2014 Line 6 was bought by the popular Japanese company Yamaha. Yamaha is a huge company that produces many different types of instruments and audio products. Consequently, Line 6 didn’t just grow, it also became available worldwide. Moreover, Yamaha prioritises innovation and creativity, which means their subsidiary Line 6 still strives to produce the best and newest products.
The Pod Go Wireless
The Pod Go Wireless is a handy multi-effect pedal for the energetic guitarist. The pedal isn’t only very versatile, but it can be used wirelessly with the included Relay GT10II transmitter. Connect the transmitter to your guitar’s output and you can dance carelessly across the stage without tripping over your cable. The pedal itself contains modelling options and many different effects that are produced by their popular HX processors. Although the user interface looks complicated, it really isn’t. The eight switches make it possible to use different presets easily and switch between sounds, presets, and functions with a press of a button. Due to the LCD screen, you can easily see which effects, sounds, or functions you’re currently using. Moreover, the system has an expression pedal you can use for effects but also for the volume.
