The Boss Katana Gen 3 series is part of Boss’ Katana series. This series is named after the traditional Japanese sword: the katana. This symbol shows the combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovation. Within this series, Boss develops versatile and powerful amps for a relatively low price. The Katana series stands next to the Waza Craft series, which means that the most innovative technology has been used. The amps contain several effects, which means these amps are ideal for the musician who likes to play different styles. The third generation has an improved response and expression. Furthermore, the third generation produces a better faux-tube amp sound with the innovative technology that Boss has developed since the MkII series. Additionally, the user interface has become more intuitive and the built-in effects are smoother. The third generation is thus literally Next Level. The Katana Head Gen 3

The Katana Head Gen 3 is an amazing and compact head from Boss. The head is 100 watts and thus produces a powerful sound. Combined with a great cabinet the head will be invincible. Due to its small size, it’s ideal for rehearsals, where you can connect it to a smaller cabinet if necessary, but also for gigs. Furthermore, you’ll have access to many different sounds, including three cabinet resonance options: Vintage, Modern, and Deep. Additionally, the head has six amp characters and four memory slots where you can save your favourite combinations. Do you want a beautifully overdriven sound with a low volume? That’s no problem, as Boss perfected a cranked-amp tone at low volumes. Additionally, you can download the Boss Tone Studio app so you can alter the settings via your smartphone or laptop.
