Eastman E10D-TC - Dreadnought
Eastman
Eastman was founded in 1992 by Qian Ni, a Chinese musician who had moved to America. He realised there were few professional instruments available at the time, which is why he decided to start his own company. Quality is still Eastman’s priority. Every instrument is made by hand and goes through an extensive process to ensure that the instruments will stand the test of time and can be used quite intensively.
Thermo Cured
Eastman has developed thermo cured guitars. This means that the top of the body has been stored at really high temperatures so unnecessary coatings can be removed and the wood has already aged when it is installed on the guitar. This may not seem great, because why would anyone want to buy an old guitar? It’s actually quite simple; aged guitars have a larger range of tones and will sound a lot fuller and rich. Furthermore, thermo cured wood is better able to withstand temperature changes and humidity, which means it’s more reliable than a regular guitar.
Materials
The E10D-TC is also made from the best materials. The top of the guitar is made of solid spruce. This produces a warm sound. The guitar has solid mahogany back and sides, which produces a beautiful resonant and bright sound. The neck is made of mahogany and has an ebony fretboard. This is a great combination which makes for a comfortable experience.
